Tis the season to be
This is that one time of the year, we have a genuine reason to be lazy. It’s cold and all you want to do is snuggle up real nice under those blankets. I become a lazy sloth who wants to do nothing but sleep and eat. To feed my hungry belly, I experiment with some simple recipes and try to make them all fancy. So I thought why not treat you all to some easy peasy lazy recipes for those of you who are too lethargic to get up and moving!
This Christmas, I give to you, few of my all time beloved recipes which never fail to please. Trust me all these recipes have no more than 3-5 ingredients in them and they are uber easy to make for unannounced visitors too!
I know for a festive season the title might seem off, but wait till you take a look at the recipe. 😉
- 2 slices of large bread loaf
- Melted dark chocolate or dark chocolate syrup
- Peanut Butter
- Any berry preserve (Optional)
Toast the two slices of bread with a little butter if that’s how you want. If you’re trying to cut those calories, leave the butter alone!
Once toasted, apply a generous amount of peanut butter on one side and some berry preserve on the other. (The preserve is completely optional)
Place the sandwiches on a plate and drizzle away the dark chocolate syrup on the toasted sandwiches. You could even place an extra bowl of dark chocolate syrup on the side
This effortless and undemanding sandwich is something you can pull off for kids and grown-ups alike, trust me the chocolate drizzle will make them go ga-ga!
